Brazilian superstar Neymar scooped another prestigious award in his homeland, claiming the Golden Boot for a second time in his career.
The Santos sensation has scored 43 goals in all competitions over the past 12 months, including 20 in the Sao Paulo State Championship, eight in the Copa Libertadores, 14 in the Brazilian League and one in the Supercup.
A 27-cap international at the age of just 20, Neymar was also awarded the best striker award in the Brazilian Championship earlier in the month, making it a very merry Christmas for the Olympic Silver medallist.
Neymar also scooped the award in 2010, notching 42 goals in another successful campaign two years ago.
In other award news, Neymar is once again in contention to claim the FIFA Puskas Award, with Radamel Falcao and Miroslav Stoch his competition this time around.
Neymar scooped the award last year, beating Barcelona sensation Lionel Messi and Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney to the award for his brilliant solo effort against Flamengo.
