Luton manager Mick Harford believes the club could be "galvanised" by their points deduction - even if there is more to come.

The Hatters were fined £50,000 and docked 10 points for the 2008/09 season on Wednesday by an FA Regulatory Committee over 15 breaches of transfer regulations.

He told Sky Sports News: "It will go to appeal I´m sure. I´ve spoken to the guys at the football club, the 2020 lads (the new owners), and we will appeal it. As a football club now we will take on the chin what´s thrown at us, it´ll galvanise us, make us stronger and move forward."
