Ronaldo going nowhere - Gill

Football News
Manchester United chief executive David Gill has "unequivocally" stated Cristiano Ronaldo will be at the club next season.

Renewed speculation linking the prolific forward with Real Madrid has surfaced in Spain this week but Gill has insisted the 41-goal winger will remain at Old Trafford under Sir Alex Ferguson.

He told Sky Sports News: "Unequivocally yes, Cristiano will be with us next season. He´s got a long-term contract, why would he leave one of the best clubs in Europe? We see no reason for him to leave and I´m sure he does not either."
