Everton manager David Moyes insists he is "totally relaxed" about his future at Goodison Park and expects to begin contract negotiations in the near future.

The Toffees will play in the UEFA Cup once again next season after securing fifth place in the Barclays Premier League with a 3-1 victory against Newcastle and Moyes has already turned his attention to building on the solid foundations he has put in place.

The Scotsman said: "I am totally relaxed about the situation. I am due for some talks maybe in a few days, maybe next week. Every manager tries to get as much money as he can, but this board have always backed me and I don´t expect that to change."
