Chelsea winger Florent Malouda is hoping it is third time lucky when his side take on Manchester United in the Champions League final.

Malouda came off the bench in the 71st-minute to help the Blues clinch a 3-2 win - 4-3 on aggregate - over Liverpool and book their place in the final of Europe´s elite club competition.

In 2006, the France international was a runner-up in the World Cup final and last year his side, Lyon, lost the Coupe de la Ligue showdown to Bordeaux, but he told French sports daily L´Equipe: "It´s odd. I have already played in two finals and I lost them both. I came here to experience these moments but I don´t want to get excited."
