Chelsea boss Avram Grant hailed the "spirit and courage" which he believes can help his side overhaul Manchester United to win the Premier League title.

The 2-1 win puts Chelsea level on points with the champions at the top but United retain a significant advantage on goal difference with just two games remaining.

"We did what we had to do. We deserved to win and more than 2-1," said Grant. "I am happy with the result and the way we did it. I enjoy winning games and I enjoyed the spirit and courage of the players."
