Derby: Ternent can join Terriers

Derby have given Stan Ternent permission to join League One side Huddersfield as their new manager.

Ternent, 61, only joined the Rams as assistant manager to Paul Jewell five months ago but is now set to take over from Andy Ritchie at the Galpharm Stadium.

Derby chairman of football Adam Pearson told his club´s official website, "We have given him permission to join Huddersfield as their manager. We have not sought any compensation from Huddersfield."
