Goalkeeper Scott Carson has admitted he wants an end to his days as the loan ranger and has "big decisions to make" over his future this summer.

Carson is currently on loan at Aston Villa from Liverpool and previously had similar spells at Sheffield Wednesday and Charlton following his move from Leeds to Anfield.

The England squad player either ideally wants to be number one with the Reds - or make a permanent move to another club and said: "Will I be at Villa next season? I can´t say yes or no. I don´t know what Martin O´Neill´s plans are here. I have some important decisions to make in the summer."
