Vidic out for two to three weeks

Manchester United have confirmed defender Nemanja Vidic has been ruled out for two or three weeks with a knee injury.

The Serbia international was forced out of Tuesday night´s Champions League quarter-final first leg at Roma after falling awkwardly half-an-hour into the game.

A club spokesman told United´s official website "There is no major damage to the left knee, and he will be out for two-three weeks."
