Football News
Everton manager David Moyes spoke of his determination to take the club to a higher level as they stretched their unbeaten Barclays Premier League run to seven games following the 2-0 victory at Manchester City.

With a place in the last 16 of the UEFA Cup already secured, Moyes´ mind drifted back to the mid-80s when Everton - under manager Howard Kendall - were a dominant force at home and abroad.

He said: "If you ask what my motivation is, it is to try and develop the club. We want to get back to the stage it was many, many years ago. That´s the aim."
