Arsenal midfielder Gilberto admits he sees cannot currently "see any future" for himself with the Gunners after losing his place in the first team this season.

The Brazil captain, 31, has started just five times in the Barclays Premier League for Arsene Wenger´s side this term as Mathieu Flamini and Cesc Fabregas have monopolised the central midfield berths.

"At the moment I cannot see any future for me at the club," Gilberto told The Guardian. "I will see what will happen in the next few months and until the end [of the season], if I will get the chance to come back in the team. If not, I will see what I am going to do at the end."
