Huth snatches a point

Robert Huth´s late header snatched a derby point for Middlesbrough as Kevin Keegan´s wait for a Newcastle win was extended further.

The German struck three minutes from time in a pulsating finish to a hard-fought game which had come to life on the hour when Michael Owen´s first Barclays Premier League goal since October ended his side´s 455-minute league drought.

However, Shay Given had to make fine saves from Stewart Downing, Gary O´Neil and David Wheater before Huth finally beat him, and substitute Dong-Gook Lee had an injury-time winner ruled out for offside.
