Worthington set for new deal

Northern Ireland are expected to announce today that manager Nigel Worthington has signed a new two-year deal to lead the side until 2010.

The Irish Football Association are holding a press conference at the Wellington Park Hotel this morning, where Worthington should lay out his plans for the team´s World Cup qualifying campaign.

The former Norwich boss was among the IFA´s delegation to Bratislava on Wednesday as their fixture list was determined and he has already started looking at the way the campaign will pan out.
