Nugent shines for Pompey

Football News
Portsmouth striker David Nugent came off the bench to net the only goal and knock 10-man Ipswich out of the FA Cup at Portman Road.

Nugent scored on 51 minutes as Pompey made the most of their advantage following the controversial sending-off of Liam Trotter in the first half.

Ipswich, FA Cup winners in 1978, were always up against it, but battled bravely and almost snatched a late equaliser through substitute Alan Lee.
