Reading goalkeeper Marcus Hahnemann´s contract has been extended until the end of next season.

The American´s deal has been automatically renewed due to a clause stipulating there would be an extension as soon as he reached 20 league games this season.

That clause was triggered in Tuesday´s defeat by Portsmouth, and Hahnemann´s new deal will expire at the end of next season (2008/09).
