Wenger praises ´inspired substitution´

Arsene Wenger´s dominance over Tottenham continued at the Emirates Stadium - but it took a penalty save from Manuel Almunia and an "inspired substitution" to keep his run going following the 2-1 result.

Almunia dived the right way to deny Robbie Keane then Nicklas Bendtner took centre stage four minutes later when he headed in Cesc Fabregas´ corner just seconds after coming on for Emmanuel Eboue. It was the first touch of his career against Spurs.

"You can call that an inspired substitution if you want - it was a welcome goal," said Wenger.
