Jol: I was best man for Spurs

Former Tottenham boss Martin Jol does not believe the club could find a better man than himself for the job.

Jol twice led Spurs to fifth-place finishes in the Barclays Premier League but was sacked in October after a stormy start to the current campaign.

And the Dutchman, writing the preface in Harry Harris´ new book, ´Martin Jol, The Inside Story´, said: "Call me arrogant, but I didn´t think the club would find anyone better than me."
