Curbs questions Cole winner

Joe Cole´s late winner for Chelsea against his former club West Ham should not have been allowed, Hammers boss Alan Curbishley has claimed.

Curbishley is convinced Cole was marginally offside before he rounded Hammers goalkeeper Robert Green to score the only goal of the game at Stamford Bridge.

He said: "There were a couple of things. Carlton Cole thinks he should perhaps have had a foul trying to take Alex on. And it (the offside call) was tight. I think he (Joe Cole) was perhaps slightly off and I have seen it again. But it was the linesman´s decision and we have just got to get on with it."
