Northern Ireland manager Nigel Worthington is banking on David Healy to become the all-time record scorer in a European championship qualifying campaign.

The Fulham striker, 28, is aiming to overtake Davor Suker of Croatia and set a new mark of 13 goals in the last two matches against Denmark tomorrow and Spain on Wednesday.

Worthington said: "He will do it, hopefully tomorrow. It would be a magnificent achievement given the size of Northern Ireland. But David is like a good wine. He is improving with age."
