Liverpool´s players felt little urge to celebrate their record Champions League success last night as they immediately focused on their next challenge.

The Reds roared back to form at Anfield as they crushed Besiktas 8-0 to keep alive their hopes of reaching the knockout stages but, after collecting just one point from their opening three Group A games, Rafael Benitez´s side still have plenty of ground to make up on Porto and Marseille in their final two matches.

"It is a very good result," said defender Fabio Aurelio. "It´s job done but we have to think of the next games."
