Luzhny takes Dynamo Kiev reins

Dynamo Kiev coach Jozef Sabo has stepped aside due to ill health with his assistant Oleg Luzhny taking over at the Ukrainian champions.

Sabo, who took over in September for his third spell in charge following Anatoly Demyanenko´s resignation, has suffered from heart problems recently and has opted to go on permanent leave.

Former Arsenal and Dynamo defender Luzhny assumes control with the club third in the Premier League, 10 points behind rivals Shakhtar Donetsk.
