Bruce future is Gold´s priority

Birmingham chairman David Gold has insisted the future of manager Steve Bruce will be "the number one priority" when talks take place with prospective new owner Carson Yeung.

Yeung is expected to meet with the Blues board and Bruce this weekend when flying back from Hong Kong to attend the home Premier League clash with Wigan.

Gold said: "The long-term future of Steve Bruce will be the number one priority when we hold our talks."
