Black wary of Bruce uncertainty

Football News
Birmingham number two Eric Black warns that other clubs will target unsettled manager Steve Bruce unless his long-term future is sorted out.

Bolton made an approach to speak to Bruce as a potential replacement for Sammy Lee only for the Blues board to deny them permission, but former Coventry boss Black expects it will not be the end of the interest in Bruce given the uncertainty surrounding him after prospective new owner Carson Yeung declined to rubber-stamp his new contract.

Black said: "Everyone is feeling slightly unsure about what is happening. I can understand how Steve is feeling and I can understand he might be slightly disappointed and unsure about what the future holds. But there are a lot of clubs out there that would look at Steve´s track manager and would want him as manager."
