Watford manager Adrian Boothroyd dismissed speculation linking him with the vacancy at Bolton after the 1-0 win over Hull which lifted his side six points clear at the top of the Coca-Cola Championship.

Marlon King´s fifth goal of the season midway through the first half proved the difference between the sides and Boothroyd revealed he had no intention of leaving the club.

He said: "I´ve had no contact with Bolton, it is purely rumours. It´s lovely to be linked because it means that we´re doing well, but loyalty works two ways. I´m still doing an apprenticeship here and I´m happy at Watford and want to stay here until they kick me out."
