Allardyce: Profession ´more volatile´

Newcastle boss Sam Allardyce believes the manager´s life is becoming ever more precarious.

The 52-year-old will send his side out against Tottenham on Monday night with opposite number Martin Jol fighting for his job after a week which has seen Allardyce´s replacement at Bolton, Sammy Lee, part company with the club and England manager Steve McClaren plunged into crisis once again.

"It is a much more volatile job now than ever before because the expectation outweighs the reality in nearly all divisions, and that brings more and more sackings every year now." said Allardyce:
