Miller eyes greatness

Football News
Kenny Miller may have missed out in Paris - but the Scotland striker knows he is within touching distance of being involved in one of his country´s greatest ever achievements by qualifying for Euro 2008.

Injury robbed the Derby forward, 27, of a part in that famous 1-0 win against France last month after suspension had ruled him out of the victory over Les Bleus at Hampden Park 12 months earlier.

Miller is determined to be heavily involved when Scotland play Georgia on Wednesday and take the team to within touching distance of Euro 2008 qualification, saying: We have definitely given ourselves a chance now - but it´s going to be tough. It will be a really tough game against Georgia, but at least we know now that the game against Italy will be a ´live´ one."
