Knee injury scare for Terry

Football News
England captain John Terry has been sent for a precautionary scan on a knee injury, the Football Association has confirmed.

Terry, already suffering from a toe injury and forced to wear a protective mask over the cheekbone fracture he suffered on Chelsea duty against Fulham last month, pulled up in training on Wednesday.

Although it is thought the damage is not too serious, coach Steve McClaren has ordered his captain to have the injury checked out - and should find out the extent of the problem later on Thursday.
