Football News
Blackburn boss Mark Hughes has warned the Barclays Premier League there is much more to come from striker Roque Santa Cruz.

The 26-year-old Paraguayan turned in a match-winning display - he scored one and set up David Bentley´s opener - as Rovers proved too strong for Sunderland to run out 2-1 victors at the Stadium of Light.

Hughes said: "He is getting stronger with every game. He has not played a lot of football in recent times on a consistent basis. He has been in for a game here, a game there, but now he is playing regularly and everybody saw his qualities on Saturday. He is a talented young man and we are delighted he is with us."
