Billy Davies believes keeping Derby in the Barclays Premier League would be his "greatest achievement" in football.

Davies won plaudits for leading the Rams to promotion in difficult circumstances last season but he feels that with the level of competition currently on show in the top flight, survival would be an even better effort.

The Rams chief said: "This (division) is the biggest and the best. Look at what we have, what we face and with the lack of experience we have in comparison with other people. With what the other team have I think this (survival) for me would be to date my greatest achievement."
