Fletcher blow for Scotland

Football News
Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher is set to miss Scotland´s Euro 2008 qualifier in Georgia next month because of the injury he sustained against France.

Fletcher was on the receiving end of a bad challenge by Patrick Vieira during the early stages of Scotland´s memorable win at the Parc des Princes, which forced Alex McLeish to replace him with Stephen Pearson.

As well as being a blow to his club, the injury is expected to prevent Fletcher being involved in the October 17 clash in Tbilisi.
