Terry wants to build on Israel win

England captain John Terry has called on the team to build on their confidence-boosting victory over Israel ahead of a much tougher test in the Euro 2008 qualifier against Russia.

The 3-0 win over Israel on Saturday was a good performance as well as a good result and the Chelsea defender believes that has set them up well for the second crucial clash at Wembley in four days.

"I think we need to lift our game. Russia are a much more organised side and it will be a lot tougher game. We have to rise to the challenge - we did it at the weekend and we have to do it again," said Terry.
