Arsene Wenger will be past his 60th birthday by the time his newly-agreed contract as Arsenal manager expires in 2011 - but the French coach has not ruled out staying on if the mood takes him.

Since his arrival at Highbury just over a decade ago, Wenger has enjoyed unprecedented success, securing three Barclays Premier League titles and four FA Cup triumphs as well as reaching the final of the Champions League in 2006.

And the Frenchman has indicated he may stay on to continue the job beyondhis new contract, saying: "I will see how I feel at that time. Three years more is a long period. Can this club make another step forward in the next years? If I can, why not? If I am healthy enough, why not?"
