Darren Fletcher will captain Scotland against Lithuania in Saturday´s Euro 2008 qualifier at Hampden.

Fletcher also skippered the side in the friendly against South Africa last month, and although reports claimed David Weir would retain the job, manager Alex McLeish has kept faith with the Manchester United midfielder.

McLeish said: "Darren Fletcher will stay as captain to keep the momentum going. Davie Weir was another choice of course, as was Craig Gordon."
