Sol Campbell is the latest England player to be ruled out of the pivotal Euro 2008 qualifiers against Israel and Russia.

In a fresh injury blow for England coach Steve McClaren, Portsmouth defender Campbell missed Sunday´s 3-1 defeat by Arsenal with a hamstring injury - and Pompey boss Harry Redknapp insists the former Gunners centre-back will be out for a fortnight, adding to McClaren´s lengthy list of absentees.

Redknapp said: "Sol´s not fit to play for England. We need to get him back and fit to play for Portsmouth in the next two weeks. That´s the key. We spoke to the doctors and they know he´s not fit. I think he will report and then come back to us."
