Arsenal´s under-fire German goalkeeper Jens Lehmann insists he can handle the pressure against England at Wembley on Wednesday night.

Lehmann has already made two costly howlers during Arsenal´s start to the new Premier League campaign, but the 37-year-old remains number one in the eyes of Germany coach Joachim Low and is ready to meet the challenge of Wednesday night´s showpiece friendly and ignore the critics.

Lehmann said: "I have done two mistakes in three plays, this is right. The comments do not matter to me. I must judge my achievement myself. The mistakes were so simple, unique, that I now have no reason to have to think about my fundamental skill as a goalkeeper."
