Swansea forward Michu has stressed he has no intention of pulling out of any challenges in Sunday's Barclays Premier League home clash with Manchester United, despite his hefty collision last weekend.

The Spaniard was floored towards the end of Sunday's 1-0 defeat at Tottenham following an aerial challenge with Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris. Having been caught unintentionally by Lloris on the head as the France international punched the ball clear, Michu was left lying motionless on the turf.

He has since made a full recovery and has emphasised that the incident will not deter him from giving his all to win the ball when league leaders United visit the Liberty Stadium. Michu told "I am a player who wants to win the ball and if that means getting hurt in the process then that's fine."
