Cahill injury worry

Football News
Everton midfielder Tim Cahill underwent an X-ray on Tuesday night after limping off in the 2-2 friendly draw at home to Werder Bremen.

The Australian, recently recovered from a broken metatarsal, was forced off during the match but assistant boss Alan Irvine insisted it was merely a precaution.

"He felt his foot which is a bit of a worry," Irvine told evertonTV. "It is something we will check out and Tim will have an X-ray."
