Major League Soccer boss Don Garber believes the influx of American owners to the Premier League is a big help to the sport in the United States.

Manchester United, Liverpool and Aston Villa are all owned by Americans - Malcolm Glazer, Tom Hicks and George Gillett, and Randy Lerner respectively, while Stan Kroenke has a 12% stake in Arsenal.

MLS commissioner Garber believes overseas investment will be positive for the game in America, saying at a press conference: "I think it´s the greatest thing for the sport there is."
