Boss Jose Mourinho was satisfied with his side´s display as Chelsea got their American tour off to a winning start with a 2-1 victory over Mexican side Club America.

Skipper John Terry netted the winner six minutes from time after new signing Florent Malouda´s 75th-minute strike had cancelled out Juan Carlos Mosqueda´s opener when the midfielder took advantage of a sluggish start by the Blues to put Club America ahead after just four minutes.

"I´m pleased," Mourinho said. "It was a very good training session. I want to thank Club America because they gave us exactly what we needed - good competition. It was a very good game by our team. There was good passing by our team, good defense, and a good overall game."
