Gunners sign Da Silva

Arsenal have completed the signing of Croatia striker Eduardo da Silva from Dinamo Zagreb, pending the receipt of a work permit.

The 24-year-old - who has agreed a four-year deal after passing a medical - was born in Brazil, but having moved to Europe at the age of 15, he took Croatian nationality in 2002.

He told the club´s official website, "I am so happy and proud to be joining Arsenal Football Club. Arsenal is one of the biggest clubs in the world with many great players and I am looking forward to helping my new club challenge for trophies."
