Freddie Ljungberg wants to stay at Arsenal for the rest of his career, quashing speculation linking him with a move away from the Gunners.

The 30-year-old had a disrupted 2006-07 season and, with Arsene Wenger´s emphasis on youth it appeared he might be on the brink of a move - but his agent Claes Elefalk is adamant the Sweden midfielder wants to see out his playing days with Arsenal.

Elefalk told BBC Sport: "Freddie wants to stay at Arsenal until he stops playing and there is a good chance that´ll happen. This is just speculation. Freddie is most certainly not leaving Arsenal."
