Frank Rijkaard has insisted he will still be at Barcelona next season.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger had been linked with the Nou Camp after Barca relinquished the Spanish league title to Real Madrid but Rijkaard has received the backing of club president Joan Laporta and the Dutchman is delighted to be able to build on his four-year stay in Spain.

"I´m really excited about continuing," he said. "When you finish the season you notice the tiredness. It´s a pity we don´t have time to continue and put things right in this league - to react and show that we are a great club."
