Sheffield United chairman Kevin McCabe has revealed he will know whether their fight to avoid relegation from the Premier League has been successful "by the end of the month, hopefully sooner".

The three-man panel finished hearing a challenge brought by the Blades against the Premier League tribunal, following the Carlos Tevez affair, and McCabe told reporters outside the central London venue where the hearing was held: "I´d like to thank the tribunal.

"It´s been a very complicated case, and the panel are going away to review the evidence and submissions. We have been told to expect a decision by the end of the month, hopefully sooner."
