West Brom chairman Jeremy Peace has insisted the club´s wantaway players will only be allowed to leave The Hawthorns for "head-turning money".

The likes of Diomansy Kamara, Jason Koumas and skipper Curtis Davies are all set to move from the Baggies after missing out on promotion back to the Barclays Premier League. But Peace indicated no-one would be allowed to leave on the cheap when rejecting a £5million bid from Birmingham for Koumas and Kamara and a £4million offer for Koumas only from Wigan.

He said: "There will be a lot of money sloshing around in the Premier League next season and, let´s face it, most of it will go into players´ pockets. And there is a danger if we don´t let people go, they will be disillusioned. But they will only go on our terms."
