The pair are believed to be at the top of City´s wishlist to replace Stuart Pearce but do not yet appear to have been formally approached.
Sevilla coach Ramos, who has won the UEFA Cup for the last two seasons, is thought to be the number one candidate but his agent Alvaro Torres told BBC Radio Five Live: "I haven´t had any contact with people from Manchester City."
