Lee recalled to Korea squad

Middlesbrough striker Lee Dong-Gook has been recalled to the South Korea squad for the June 2 friendly meeting with Holland after over a year´s absence.

The 28-year-old, who joined Gareth Southgate´s Premiership outfit from K-League side Pohang Steelers at the start of the year, last featured for Korea against Angola in March 2006.

Lee featured for Korea at the 1998 World Cup but was omitted from the 2002 team and was ruled out of last year´s tournament after suffering a cruciate knee-ligament injury in the K-League.
