Magnusson wants to keep Tevez

West Ham chairman Eggert Magnusson has expressed his desire to keep Argentina striker Carlos Tevez at the club.

The future surrounding the most controversial player in the Premier League remains uncertain with a legal battle looming, but Magnusson is adamant he wants Tevez to remain at Upton Park.

He said: "There is bound to be a lot of speculation over the summer about our playing squad. There will be a particular focus on Carlos Tevez and I want him to stay."
