Sheffield United have made a new contract offer to Northern Ireland winger Keith Gillespie.

The 32-year-old, who joined United in 2005, was out of contract at Bramall Lane but has now - along with defender Chris Lucketti - been offered a new deal while young winger Ben Starosta has signed a two-year extension.

Blades chairman Terry Robinson told the club´s official website, "We would like to make offers to Chris and Keith and, although the new man might have different ideas, at this stage we felt that we should try and keep them."
