Premier League chairmen are likely to be given a further detailed "explanation" over the Carlos Tevez affair on Tuesday.

West Ham´s controversial signing of the Argentinian star continues to overshadow the club´s successful fight for Premiership survival with relegated Sheffield United ready to pursue legal action - backed by Wigan, Fulham and Charlton and other clubs, including Middlesbrough.

West Ham were fined a record £5.5million but the clubs feel they should have been deducted points, and Wigan chairman Dave Whelan believes Premier League chief executive Richard Scudamore "has got a lot of explaining to do", saying more evidence could come to light on Tuesday.
