Video: Omani cameraman steals show with skill in Cup match

A cameraman in Oman has become a YouTube sensation after a fantastic piece of skill during the Sultan Qaboos Cup match between Salalah and Sur.

And, whilst Salalah won the game 4-2 on penalties after a 1-1 draw, it was the man behind the camera who has emerged as the unlikely star of the match.

Despite having to keep hold of some pretty old-school equipment in-front of him, the cameraman judged the flight of the ball perfectly as it drifted towards him.

Controlling the ball instantly with the outside of his right foot, the mystery man provided the perfect first-time pass into the arms of an onrushing player.

The cameraman’s footwork was doubly impressive when you consider his attire, with traditional dress offering little in the way of room for manoeuvre in the legs.

Having watched the video several times at GiveMeFootball Towers, we think it's the perfect festive clip to bring in the New Year.
